Project U-Turn was started to rescue troubled teens and young adults from Drug addiction and other Mental and Behavioral illnesses. Project U-Turn’s mission is to provide intervention services to any who is seeking help for a loved one to get the services they need to save the life of their loved one in Crisis. Project U- Turn provides low cost and free intervention services to those families that qualify.
Project U-Turn Interventionists use the most effective practices available to ensure a successful intervention. They generously donate their time and resources from their private intervention practices to help families find the path to recovery for their loved one.
Project U Turn was founded by Evan "Bullet" James and his wife Lauren "Nicole" James and is non-profit 501(c)3 corporation. Donations are used to pay for the logistical costs of performing an intervention.
Project U Turn rose from the tragedy of Evan losing his sister Valerie to her heroin addiction. It was through this searing pain and loss that Evan and Lauren dedicated their lives to this very important work.
Each family must undergo assessment process to determine the viability of a safe and successful intervention. Then a family must undergo a financial assessment and provide proof that the cost of an intervention presents a financial hardship beyond the means of viability.
